Bagan (in English)

We rented an electric bike and I sat at the back. Pawel didn't believe me when I was screaming that my bum and leg hurts but when he saw bruises in the evening he admited I was right. Since then we always took two bikes;)

That's the first time in few days that we stopped travelling and are going to stay here for about 5 nights. The surroundings are incredible! Temples. There is about 4000 of them. They hide in the landscape so you can see beautiful tops from afar. We were truly stunned by this topographical excitement and architectural delight. The best thing is that there is so many routes you can take and drive from one temple to the other through feeling wind in your hair and that beautiful sense of freedom. We felt a little bit like Indiana Jones on his adventure:) Around bigger temples are stools with souvenirs created for tourists. To us it was a clash between modern values and traditional ideas. The sweetest thing ever was to see little boy selling his drawings of teletubis.

To see sunset over Bagan was one of the most spectacular things I've ever seen.
